Arbitrator Rules That City Of Bradenton Broke Labor Agreement With Police Union

BRADENTON, FL — An independent arbitrator ruled that the city of Bradenton violated a labor agreement following a wage freeze that impacted 16 Bradenton police personnel.

Theodore H. O’Brien, the arbitrator, has ordered the city to retroactively pay personnel what they should have been paid starting on Oct. 1, 2023. Additionally, the order provides pay increases for the affected personnel and to pay the full $10,000 cost of arbitration and attorney’s fees.
