Albany, N.Y. — The New York State Correctional Officers and Police Benevolent Association has released an 11-page report detailing the factors that led to an unsanctioned strike by correction officers in February.

The report highlights several critical issues, including mandatory overtime, increased violence, a staffing crisis and perceived neglect from the State.
