Dallas Police Association Members Elect New President As Former Leader, Jamie Castro, Faces Investigation

DALLAS — Members of the Dallas Police Association (DPA) voted this past weekend to remove longtime president Jamie Castro from office, electing Sean Pease as the new leader of the city’s largest police association.

Castro, who declined to step down amid an ongoing investigation, ran for another term but was overwhelmingly voted out by the membership, sources tell WFAA.
