FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Police officers and firefighters in Fayetteville will soon see a pay raise after a study received city council approval on Tuesday in an effort to retain members as well as attract new talent.
The City of Fayetteville does a pay study every two years for its police and fire departments to compare rates to other departments and see how they can stay competitive. The Fayetteville City Council approved the 2025 study as well as the 2025 employee compensation budget on March 4.
