LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — LaTesha Watson, Henderson’s police chief from September 2017 until she was fired in April 2019, filed a federal lawsuit in September 2020. The suit claimed, among other things, racial discrimination and hostile work environment, violation of her civil rights, defamation and libel. The city hired an investigator to look into complaints concerning Watson that began in June 2018.
