TROY, OH — The city firefighters union has taken to social media to alert residents about operational changes in emergency medical services that the group says may negatively impact public safety and timely emergency care.

Troy’s city government though, says the changes in the Station 11 service area are “an enhancement of our EMS services to our community.”

The posting by International Association of Firefighters Local 1638 sparked dozens of resident comments and added press statements released by city administrators.
