CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte Fraternal Order of Police was on a fact-finding mission to see where members stand when it comes to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings.

The Charlotte Fraternal Order of Police, a private organization, said that on May 8, they sent an email to its members to inform them of a motion passed by their membership to hold a vote of no-confidence of Chief Jennings.

The Charlotte Fraternal Order of Police is the largest in North Carolina, with about 2,000 overall members, and 1,700 of those members working at the Charlotte police department.
