SEATTLE, WA — Former Seattle police Chief Adrian Diaz filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the city of Seattle and Mayor Bruce Harrell, alleging he was wrongfully terminated for refusing to fire at least one officer without due process at Harrell’s command and was retaliated against with a rushed investigation into rumors of a romantic relationship with his chief of staff.
