Boise, ID — Gridlock between City of Boise leadership and the city’s police officers ended this week after one more attempt at a counteroffer came through.
On Tuesday, the Boise City Council unanimously approved a contract labor agreement with the Boise Police Union, laying out 3% annual raises for the next four years, including back-to-back raises in calendar year 2025. This contract, which locks the city into a vast array of details on police spending and policy for the next four years, guarantees higher raises for officers than what the city has already approved for general staff members.
