West Allis Police Union Ratifies New Collective Bargaining Agreement With City

WEST ALLIS, WI – A new collective bargaining agreement between the City of West Allis and its police union, along with a more than 15% raise for officers, is one step closer to reality.

The West Allis Professional Police Association (WAPPA) announced November 10 that its membership
voted to ratify a new four-year collective bargaining agreement with the City through 2029. That tentative agreement now moves to the Common Council for final approval November 11.

“We trust the Common Council will recognize the value this agreement brings to both our officers and the residents we serve.” said WAPPA President Zachary Scott in a statement.
