Milwaukee Police Union Approves Labor Agreement With City

MILWAUKEE, WI — It comes after MPA, which represents Milwaukee’s police officers, and the city made a “tentative, voluntary agreement” last week.

Now that MPA has approved the agreement, it will go to the Milwaukee Common Council for approval.

Milwaukee police have been working without a new contract for more than two and a half years. Their last labor agreement expired in Dec. 2022. The union said it was fighting for better pay and staffing. The new contract would run through 2026.
